Tucked beside the vines in a beautifully repurposed winemaking shed, The Kitchen at Bec Hardy blends rustic charm with refined touches — think heritage oak vats and elegant tableware, all designed to let the wine and food shine.
Our menu is seasonal, local, and built for sharing — with produce from our Tipsy Hill Estate gardens and the broader Fleurieu Peninsula. Expect a relaxed, flavour-forward experience with a rotating selection of hot and cold grazing plates, available seven days a week. Every dish is designed to complement our wines, telling the story of place with every bite and sip.
We’re open daily (except Christmas Day), and bookings are strongly recommended - especially on weekends. Walk-ins welcome when space allows.
Our menu features a seasonal selection of small and large plates designed for sharing. Prefer to leave the choosing to us? Try our Feed Me option, available Thursday to Monday - a curated selection of dishes for your table to enjoy together.

Important Information
The Kitchen at Bec Hardy is located at;
327 Hunt Rd, McLaren Vale SA 5171.
The Kitchen is open 11am - 3pm, 7 days a week (closed Christmas Day)*
*15% Surcharge on Public Holidays.
Our menu features a seasonal selection of small and large plates. Large plates and our Feed Me menu are available Thursday to Monday only.
A $10 per person booking deposit is required and will be reimbursed on the final bill after dining.
Group Dining Policy
For groups of 8 or more adults (12 years+), the Feed Me menu is mandatory for the entire table.
Feed Me is a table-wide experience and all guests must dine on the same menu. Individual substitutions or partial participation are not available.
Dietary Requirements
Dietary requirements (including vegetarian and vegan) must be advised at the time of booking.
Due to the nature of our kitchen and set menu, unannounced dietary requirements cannot be accommodated on the day.
Children
Please ensure all children over the age of two are included when entering your booking numbers.
If you require a highchair, please include this in the booking notes.
Our children’s menu is available for children up to 12 years old.
Celebration Cakes
We’re happy for you to bring a birthday or celebration cake.
A small cakeage of $5.50 per person applies.
Wine Tastings
If you plan to enjoy a wine tasting prior to dining, please arrive 30 minutes before your reservation for your seated tasting in our Tasting Room.
