Pertaringa 'Lakeside' Pinot Grigio 2025 | 12 Pack
Region: South Australia
Story: Lakeside is about the fun things in life! Sitting at the water's edge, enjoying a glass of wine with friends while taking in the surroundings and this elegant and refreshing Pinot Grigio is just perfect for this!
Vintage: The 2025 vintage was an early one where we started harvest in mid-January, the earliest for decades. The dry weather ensured low disease pressure and with this early picked fruit the resultant wine is clean and fresh.
Winemaking: Parcels were night harvested to retain freshness and gently pressed once at the winery. Cool fermentation in stainless steel was followed by prompt blending and bottling to ensure purity of fruit and optimum freshness.
Nose: Lifted citrus and apple notes on the nose.
Palate: The palate is crisp and dry, with fresh citrus and pear flavours. This wine is refreshing and balanced with great flavour length.
Cellaring: Drink now to 2028

92 Points - Wine Orbit, 2025
'It's elegantly expressed on the nose, showing Asian pear, apricot, lemon peel, and jasmine aromas, followed by a juicy palate that's light and refreshing. Charming and finely textured with bright acidity, offering immediate appeal.'
91 Points - Ken Gargett, Wine Pilot, 2025
2025 saw the earliest grape harvests in South Australia for a very long time. The grapes underwent a cool ferment in stainless steel, the aim being to retain as much freshness as is possible. A straw lemon hue, the wine has lifted aromatics with pears, hazelnuts, apricot skins, melon, citrus and florals. An attractive subtle texture with good concentration and focus, there is good length here and underlying power. A lingering finish. Should drink very well over the next four years.
