Story: Pertaringa was founded by Bec's father, Geoff Hardy, in 1980. There have been a number of iterations of the Pertaringa label over the years, so as the Pertaringa brand reaches 45 years of age, we decided to re-release one of our original Heritage labels.
Winemaking: Small batch open fermenters, 20 months in new and aged French oak.
Nose: The nose is rich and earthy with blackcurrant, mulberries and hints of menthol and dried herbs.
Palate: The palate is elegant and complex with dark fruits and cassis, complemented by excellent structure and a lingering finish.
Cellaring: Drink now to 2036
