"Gorgeously composed and expressed, the richly fruited bouquet shows black Doris plum, blueberry, warm spice, toasted nut and rich floral aromas. The concentrated palate displays excellent depth and plush texture, splendidly structured by finely infused tannins, finishing impressively long and expansive."

"The classic Rhone blend from a top vintage from McLaren Vale. Pertaringa actually means 'belonging to the hills'. Maturation was for a year in older French oak. Deep red / magenta. Raspberries, spices including a flick of pepper, dried herbs, hints of chocolate and warm earth. Fine if slightly charry tannins, medium length and intensity, a firm finish. We see the emergence of black cherries on the palate. Enjoy this now and over the next half dozen years."

"On the nose, aromas of purple fruits, violets, wet forest floor and some peppercorns too. Medium-bodied and lively with fine tannins, character and focus. A solid and energetic blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mouvedre."
