Bec Hardy Family Crest Red Blend 2024 | 6 Pack
Region: McLaren Vale
Winemaking: This vintage is a blend of Merlot and Shiraz with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon.. The parcels were kept separate through crushing, destemming and fermentation in static stainless steel fermenters. The grapes spent 7 days on skins, before racking off into 100% seasoned French oak where it matured for 18 months. Â
Nose: The nose displays notes of plums, pepper and a hint of dark cherries.
Palate: The palate is elegant with great flavours of plums, cherries and black pepper, finishing delightfully smooth and lingering. Delicious!
Cellaring: Drink now to 2030

'notes of black fruits, licorice, coffee grinds, dark cherries, herbs and beefstock. There is good focus here and some zesty acidity. The wine has medium length, finishing with chalky tannins. Attractive drinking for the next three to five years.'
