Discover McLaren Vale This Spring: Exclusive Wines, Relaxed Dining & Perfect Getaways
There’s something truly magical about spring in McLaren Vale. The vineyards are buzzing with new energy - budburst is in full swing, flowering is just beginning, and with it, the 2026 vintage growing season is officially underway.
For us, this season is about more than just the promise of warmer days. It’s a time to come together over great wine, delicious food, and good company - family, friends, and of course, our beloved four-legged companions!
Speaking of which, our sheep have now finished their work in the vineyards. As the vines begin to grow, they’ve developed a bit too much of a taste for the fresh shoots - so it’s time for them to move on. They’ve done their grazing for the year and will be back next season to lend a hoof once again.
And just like the season, there’s a lot that feels fresh and exciting at Bec Hardy Wines right now.
🍴 A New Era at The Kitchen at Bec Hardy
Closer to home, spring marks a fresh chapter for The Kitchen at Bec Hardy. With our new chef leading the way, we’re embracing a more relaxed, welcoming vibe - still every bit as special, but designed for those long, lazy lunches that McLaren Vale does so well.
Think:
- Seasonal grazing plates that highlight local, sustainable ingredients.
- À la carte specials inspired by what’s fresh that week. New dishes will continue to be added to the menu and we’ll update the website as we go.
- A casual, come-as-you-are atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot for families, friends, and wine lovers alike.
And remember, as a Wine Club member, you’ll enjoy priority bookings and a more tailored experience when you visit.
