Garden Series Mixed 6 Pack
To celebrate International Day for Biological Diversity we have put together a special Garden Series Mixed Pack. This 6-pack includes 1 bottle each of the following Bec Hardy Garden Series wines;
Sparkling NV
A beautiful sparkling sourced from two vineyards in McLaren Vale using the traditional Champagne varieties. 63% Chardonnay and 37% Pinot Noir. Cool fermentation in stainless steel was followed by malolatic fermentation and 6 months maturation in seasoned French hogsheads. Final blending and secondary fermentation resulted in a fine, persistent bead and modern, balanced palate.
Riesling 2024
Sourced from 2 vineyards in the Clare Valley wine region, one on Schobers Road west of Auburn and the other at a higher altitude on Bryksys Hill Road at Watervale. Parcels were night harvested to retain freshness and gently pressed once at the winery. Cool fermentation in stainless steel was followed by prompt blending and bottling to ensure purity of fruit and optimum freshness.
Rosé 2024
The Shiraz for this Rosé was grown at our Lot 94 BSR vineyard located in the cooler Blewitt Springs sub-region of McLaren Vale. Cool night harvest of the grapes and immediate crushing and pressing of fruit at the winery resulted in a pale pink colour. Stainless steel fermentation at cool temperature and bottled early to retain aromatics. Juicy strawberry and cherry fruit flavours.
Pinot Noir 2024
This wine is a single vineyard Pinot Noir from the Osmond's 'Clay Creek' block located in a beautiful pocket just outside McLaren Flat. The vines are 50 years old, a rarity for Pinot Noir in McLaren Vale. The long established vines make for wonderfully balanced and high quality grapes.
Shiraz 2024
This Shiraz is sourced from two McLaren Vale, vineyards. Price's Gateway vineyard on the west side of the Victor Harbor Rd at the entrance of McLaren Vale and The Lower Tintara vineyard was originally planted by Thomas Hardy in the 1880s and is located on Kays Road. This wine was matured for 10months is a combination of both French and American hogsheads before blending and bottling.
Cabernet Sauvignon 2024
This wine is a blend of two McLaren Vale vineyards; Symonds vineyard located in Whites Valley, a warmer sub-region of McLaren Vale between Willunga and Sellicks Hill and Price's Gateway Vineyard at the northern entrance of McLaren Vale.
