Premium Shiraz 2018
Vintage: The 2018 growing season started slowly, however warmer weather eventually sped things up. Fruit set throughout McLaren Vale was good and the low rainfall and warm weather from January to April ensured intense flavours and due to the cooler nights in March the fruit retained its acidity. These conditions have resulted in superb wines from this vintage.
Nose: The nose offers subtle aromas of plums and herbs with a trace of mint.
Palate: The palate is tight and textural with delightful flavours and elegant vanillin oak.
Pairing: Try with venison loin dry rubbed with juniper berry and lavender served on braised cabbage with a blueberry and red wine glaze.
Cellaring: Drink now to 2028.
